Want to know who clicked and visited your website link with your SMS Campaign? We provide Advanced Link Tracker option to analyze your SMS Campaigns.
When you run an SMS Campaign and include links in your SMS content and you want to know who has visited your link. Our Link Tracker feature helps you understand who has visited your link and provide other important analytics.
We basically convert your long URL to short URL within the content and deliver SMS to the recipients. Once they click on that link, it will redirect them to your original posted link.
Our system creates unique short token from 6 to 8 characters and generates a short URL just like goo.gl. So when user clicks on the link, we will tell you from which mobile number has visited your link.
Example: When you use long URL as https://www.smsgateway.center/admin/link-tracker-faq.php, this will be converted to https://tx1.in/SAlhjS
We provide the following data:
- Total Clicks per UUID or per campaign.
- Mobile Number who has clicked and visited the link through Short URL.
- Total Clicks by per Mobile Number.
- Individual Mobile number's visited time, IP, Browser, Operating System and Device such as Mobile or PC.
The short URL range between 21 to 23 characters long.
You can also shorten more when you exlude https protocol. For example: When you Exclude HTTPS then actual Short URL count would be 13 to 15 characters. Short URL would be as tx1.in/123456 or tx1.in/12345678.
We will only convert SINGLE URL which is at the end of the message when system finds multiple URL in the message content.
For Example: If you have typed the following message such as
"Discount Offer! Buy 2 and Get 1 Free only at https://www.mydomain.com/shoppingproduct.html. To buy this offer Visit https://mydomain.com/special_offer.html to get additional discount. Regards MyCompany Name"
Then we take the last URL from the message, https://www.mydomain.com/special_offer.html and convert this into Short URL and provide Link Tracking analytics.
You can shorten more when you exlude https protocol. For example: When you Exclude HTTPS then actual Short URL count would be 13 to 15 characters. Short URL would be as tx1.in/123456 or tx1.in/12345678.
If you include HTTPS protocol, then Short URL would be as https://tx1.in/123456 or https://tx1.in/12345678 which ranges between 21 to 23 characters.
